The upload area of confluence pages have stopped working. When you drag a file over the page, the upload area does not respond. If you click the 'Browse for files' link to select a file nothing happens.
I'm the only admin user and have not changed any settings or user rights.
This is affecting all confluence pages.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
@Paul Hitchcock If you are editing the page, adding a comment to the page, or using a live doc drag and drop for attachments works. If you are on a published page then drag and drop will not work. Is this the behavior you are seeing?
I don't see any issue with Confluence on Atlassian Status

(Marc) Yeah, I checked the status first and didn't see any problems there either.
(Brant) The pages are all published. I've done this for many years and it's always worked. Just drag a file on the big dashed box that says "Drag and drop to upload or browse for files". I do it multiple times a week. Last attachment I added was on January 9th and worked fine. This morning is the first time since then I've tried and it doesn't work. I've tried multiple other confluence pages with the same result.
I added a brand new page and tried attaching files to that and couldn't do that either.
I tried in Chrome and Edge, same result in both browsers.
I've tried clearing browser cookies and logging out/in.
I just went back an discovered that I can go to the Attachments list and the drag and drop there doesn't work either. It seems like it's going to work for a split second as the drag operation enters the page, then the drag area stops responding. Looks like maybe a java script failure or something.
On the attachments page, the select a file button does still work and I was able to attach the file, however it doesn't give you a progress meter so I just waited as the wheel spun and it finished the upload.
It would be nice to figure out what broke in the drag/drop though.

Another user has reported what seems to be the same problem.

FYI, it's working again today. So maybe a browser update or code update fixed it.
