Why can't I 'Like' my co-worker's post?

My co worker just put up a post. It's already got one thumbs-up emoji. I went to put one on as well, but can't find the option to add an emoji to a post.

I have access to read, comment on and edit this post, so why can't I find the option to add an emoji?

Also, when I hover over the thumbs up emoji that the other person added, it shows a black circle with a diagonal line. Weird

I agree this is a strange behaviour. 

I have some questions for you.

Is this still persisting?

Have you tried different pages, different browsers? In incognito mode?

Is anyone else having this issue?
