Why can I no longer copy and paste the content of my database's text fields?

I have a database on our Confluence-

The database has long text fields labeled "description". I want to copy the text from one entry's description. It's even my own entry(!).

When I select the text and copy it, then paste in another app, it pastes a URL.

Your Rovo AI told me to manually select the text but then I can't even copy the text. Also its other suggested workarounds don't help.

Last week, it used to work in my exact same setup (Windows 11, Brave Browser) but now it doesn't anymore. So essentially Confluence is holding my data hostage.

Can anyone around here help me?

Welcome to Atlassian community and thank you for your post.

I tried to reproduce your behaviour, but I can't. I'm using Chrome browser and I can copy&past the entire line (with several text fields and tags) to a standard editor in my pc.

Could you share the structure of your database?
