I have added a few guests to Confluence from the admin side, but when I go to grant them access to a Space, the "Add" button is greyed out and doesn't let me add them. We only have 8 guests in there currently, and our company pays for 70 seats, so I don't think the limit is the issue. I've tried signing out and back in, and removing an existing guest and trying to add them again. I'm not able to add Space access for those guests, or anyone new. Why is this happening?
The Space admin permission is required to add guests. However if you can remove guests, I would have assumed you have Space admin.
Assuming you do have the Space admin perms, look to see if someone has turned off Guest Access for the space or instance. The following doc may help0.

Thanks Shawn! I was able to add space access for the new guests through global permissions on the admin side instead of from the space directly, and it worked. I was previously able to add guest access from the space directly, but this other method worked just fine.
