When using the trackpad to zoom within the Canvas, specifically when the cursor is over a full-detail embedded Jira Issue, on a Whiteboard the entire browser zooms and the view outside of the canvas cannot be recovered easily via the trackpad, keyboard shortcuts or browser zoom settings. I have found that I have to go back over the embedded issue and then pinch zoom out or leave the whiteboard and navigate to trigger a new page load.
Ideally the zoom doesn't get hijacked by the embedded iframe.

Additionally: it is very easy to accidentally click into the embedded issue when trying to manage it on the whiteboard. Perhaps the embeds should be view-only/locked with a menu to enable editing or opening in a new tab?
Hi @Shae Allison have you tried this with Safari, or have some Windows users that could also try it in Chrome or Edge to see if they can replicate the issue? In either case, it sounds like a bug narrowed down to the mac, or would be a browser specific thing.
Unfortunately my whiteboard currently isn't finding my Jira projects so I can't replicate it. It does seem like my pinch to zoom on my Dell/Win11 is working with Edge.
I took a look through Atlassian's Jira site and didn't see anything specific for this issue. If you have something that you can reproduce at will, I'd suggest opening a ticket with Atlassian Support as I may have missed something.
Hope that helps.
