When should I choose a Blueprint over a Template?

I want to create a template for application onboarding guides. I'm not sure whether a Template is good enough, or if a Blueprint is better for this task.

Hello @Moshe Armel

Use a template when you mainly want a standard page structure and reusable content.

Blueprint is great when you want a more guided content creation experience for a specific use case, especially if users create that type of page often.

So in practice, for most common documentation needs I would start with a template first. It is usually the simpler and lighter option.

I would go with a blueprint when the content should not only look consistent, but also be created in a more structured way around a defined purpose.

So for me it is basically:

Template = standardization

Blueprint = more guided structure/use case

That is usually the easiest way to decide but it's only my opinion.
