If a Confluence user doesn't have access to a particular share point page. And there are links to the share point page documents on the confluence space/page. If that user selects the link to the share point page where the documents are stored. Will the link work to display the document that is on the share point page?
Similarly with a JIRA dashboard that is being displayed on a confluence space/page. If the Confluence user looks on the Confluence page where the JIRA report is displayed. Will they see the JIRA report if they do not have access to that particular instance of JIRA?
Hi @Richard ,
Confluence doesn't manage or bypass user permissions to other Atlassian products or to external content.
So in the case of Sharepoint the user will probable get an access denied message or will be redirected to a login page for Sharepoint.
In the case of Jira users will not see the Jira Report if they don't have access to that report in Jira itself
