Sometimes download path of a confluence attachment have a suffix like ?api=v2.

For example: https://confluence/download/attachments/1111111/test.pdf?api=v2

What does it mean?

Thanks

It means the call is asking version 2 of the API to fetch data.

Atlassian tend to leave a couple of versions of the remote API in place in order to reduce the amount of re-working people have to do as they evolve.
