What is the CF() ID of a custom {status}?

I am using the Page Properties macro and have a label of 'Status' and in the adjacent column use a {STATUS} macro with values of OPEN and CLOSED.

I wanted to used the Page Properties Report to filter between pages that are OPEN vs those that are CLOSED.  Seems pretty simple and straight forward.  I did try this before with a Completed custom column trying to use an INCLUDING TEXT filter of completed is empty (also null) etc but to no avail.  I thought it may work better on STATUS = 'OPEN'  or 'CLOSED' but that too did not work.

So is the magic to use a CF (guess that is Confluence Field ID?) but how do you get that value?  I am a Space admin not a Site admin so keep that in mind.

While I really like Confluence it is very frustrating constantly getting stuck on what appears to be trival matters.
