What happens to my storage and stored items if I move from a Free plan to a Standard or Premium plan

Maybe a stupid question, but:

What happens to my storage and stored items if I move from a Free plan to a Standard or Premium plan?

I can find all needed info for transfering the other way around but not for this question.
