What does the Overview toggle do?

In "Sidebar configuration" there is an Overview toggle. It doesn't seem to do anything. What is it supposed to do?

Hi @Scott Beeson ~ not sure why they have that toggle.   Only info I could find on this was:  https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/set-up-your-space-homepage/#Create-a-stellar-overview  but it doesn't seem to be dependent on that toggle.

I think what it's supposed to do is show a link to the Home page in the navigation. It seems like I remember it doing that years ago. If that were the case, and if it worked, it would have avoided this entire question for me.
