Macros allow you to enhance your Confluence pages with more rich content. I suggest you read the documentation first:

Depending on your use case, the macro you'd want to use on a page will greatly differ.

Hi @Radhika and welcome to the community!

Macros are simple building blocks to help you organize your content in Confluence.

If you open up a page in edit mode and click on "+V" you can see a list of all the included macros.

Here are some examples (with short commands in bold)

• Info panel, use it to highlight a block of text on your page /info
• Table, creates a table on your page /table
• Jira work items, add selected work items from jira based on your query /jira

Try it out and play around to find your favourites, there are hundreds of macros to add more intelligence to your confluence pages.
