Macros are simple building blocks to help you organize your content in Confluence.
If you open up a page in edit mode and click on "+V" you can see a list of all the included macros.
Here are some examples (with short commands in bold)
Try it out and play around to find your favourites, there are hundreds of macros to add more intelligence to your confluence pages.
