What are Space Keys and is there any benefit in customizing them?
@Jeanné Washington To learn more about Space Keys, you can start on this page: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/choose-a-space-key/
This is the Cloud page, if you are using Confluence Server, click Data Center and Server at the top of the page to see information specific to Server.
Hi @Jeanné Washington ,
Welcome to the community!
A space key is the "identifier" of an entire space, e.g. A space named Knowledge Base might have a space key like "KB". Pages within this space will get the identifiers like "KB-1", "KB-2" e.t.c.
You cannot change Space Key's in Confluence so I'm not really sure what you mean.

According to the "Space Keys" Confluence Support article, you can...I was querying more for a better understanding of when you should and why you would customize a space key.
