View File macro excel file doesn't work properly

i try to reduce the size of excel spreadsheet due to the guide, so i change last row and last column. But the confluence does not apply this changes to the spreadsheet, so that whole spreadsheet is displayed on the wiki page. Have an idea why it does not work?

Can you please confirm which confluence version are you using ? Are you using Edit in office or Atlassian Companion app to edit/upload the excel file ?

Confluence 7.4.11. Firstly i attached the excel file to a page and then i used the View File macros to display the document's content. Then i tried to To edit an existing macro: i clicked the macro placeholder and choose Edit. This opened the macro details, so i edited the macro parameters (columns and rows to reduce the size of the file displayed on the wiki page). But after saving the changes the displayed picture did not change. I used the following guide: View File Macro | Confluence Data Center and Server 7.4 | Atlassian Documentation. What is the problem?

Thank you for the details @Dariia I understood your concern now. It seems like after you edit the excel, your saved changes are not uploaded to confluence. Can you please confirm which plugin you use to edit the file ? is it Atlassian Companion App or Office connector ?
