Over the weekend, it seems a page that was viewing fine now has all of the content contained within a vertical scroll bar in the published view.
Has anything changed?
I wondered if i was something I had done but it is still displaying in the same way after going back to a previous version of the page.
What would this be caused by - is there a limit on length of page?
@Tatyana Kuznetsova I'v tried to recreate your issue like this, but I do not see a vertical scroll bar. Any thing else that could be affecting it? Are you on the Cloud version of Confluence or is it self hosted?
Hi @Davin Studer,
I was able to recreate the issue by just adding the style macro to the page only and publishing the page. A scrollbar was present within the macro.
I am using Chrome Version 68.0.3440.75 (Official Build) (64-bit)

@[deleted]It looks like the issue has disappeared as I don't see it on any of my pages - I've tested it on Firefox and Chrome.
Thanks for your help - I am so glad it got resolved.

Sounds like maybe a transitory issue with the style macro that has since been resolved.

Thanks for reaching out Danny.
I figured it out in the end. It was the presence of a Time planner macro that was causing the issue.
I have had the macro on my page for a longtime, so I am wondering if it has been deprecated or tweaked, as the vertical scroll bar appeared over the weekend.
As soon as I removed the macro from my page it was backto normal.

Hi Danny! I have a very similar issue - I am using the external CSS macro (style macro) and for some reason all of the pages now have a vertical scrollbar and I am not sure how to get rid of it. As soon as I remove style CSS macro, that scroll bar disappears.
Not using that macro is not an option, as we are using custom CSS.
Is there a resolution to this?
Thank you,
-Tanya

@[deleted]Hi Danny! Thank you for getting back to me. You can easily recreate the bug by adding a style macro to the page - even if the CSS file is empty, you will still get a scroll bar, as long as the macro is on the page. At the moment, the only thing that my css file contains is this:
.wiki-content
{
background:#D46D6E;
}

Unfortunately, I have not been able to solve the issue myself. Instead, I will give a shout out to all the Champions and see if anyone has some information on this subject.
Thanks
