For many months, I've successfully pre-populated values in new pages created from "User created templates" by selecting template when creating page and selecting values from prepopulated list variables.
Recently, I've observed that values selected in template interface no longer remain populated when I Create the page from template—the structure and appearance of the "bare" template is retained, but not the user-selected values. There is no hint of a problem in the UI until I see the result of the "Create" action. Publishing the created draft page does not belatedly restore the values selected from list at the template population stage.
My field names contain only alpha characters and spaces. Presence of spaces had been accepted and I had no problems w/them before, but I tested replacing spaces w/underscores. This did not help.
I do intermittently replace variable content lists w/updated lists. To troubleshoot, for one template I shortened and simplified variable lists to "A,B,C" and "1,2,3", but this did not resolve the problem.
I did not have any 3rd party plugins installed at the time the issue was 1st observed.
Community: Any suggestions for solving?
