Is the user tier for Dashboard hub based on how many users are going to be creating dashboards or based on the amount of users who will be viewing the Confluence page with the dashboard embedded?
Hi, this is Gorka Puente, Director of Product Management in Appfire, the company behind Dashboard Hub.
Dashboard Hub follows Atlassian’s standard “app = same user tier as the host product” rule: Everyone who is a licensed user in your Confluence site counts toward the tier, not just the people who build dashboards or the people who view pages where dashboards are embedded.
I'm afraid we cannot change that, since Atlassian manages all Marketplace licensing. An app’s tier must always match the Confluence tier selected in Administration → Manage Subscriptions.
However, Dashboard Hub lets you generate a public link for any dashboard. Anyone with that URL (customers, partners, auditors, etc.) can view the dashboard in a browser without a Confluence account and without adding to your user tier or cost.
Hope this helps!
