I am trying to create an automation for confluence pages and trying to get the user information using the available smart variables:
{{user.fullName}}
{{user.emailAddress}}
{{user.accountId}}
{{user.publicName}}
Unfortunately, none of these variable returns anything.
I was trying to pass them directly in a variable or just log them.
They are always showing empty.
The users triggering the automation is logged in. Plus, in the automation log I can see the name of the user who trigger it.
Why the smart variables are not working?
Thanks
PS: other smart variables like {{page.id}} or {{space.key}} are working fine
Hi @Alin Oana
As @John Funk mentioned please show your rule.
1. images that show your complete rule.
2. images showing the details of any relevant actions/conditions/branches.
3. images showing the Audit Log details for the rule execution.
What is the purpose of the automation creating a page or getting information from a page, what is the information you are trying to use/get?
