Hello,
I am using Confluence environment for organizational knowledge management and would like to clarify its analytics capabilities.
Specifically, I would like to know whether it is possible to identify the countries or geographic regions from which users are accessing a public Confluence knowledge portal.
I understand that in a public space there are no authenticated users and access does not require login, meaning users are anonymous. That said, I was wondering whether aggregated geographic insights (for example, based on IP address or similar anonymized data) are available or supported by the add-on.
I would appreciate your guidance on what is technically possible in this scenario and whether there are any limitations we should be aware of.
Thank you for your assistance.
This is not stored in Confluence analytics, so there is no option in Confluence to get this, as this information is not stored
You would need to use like browser analytics (Google analytics) or an app that can get these analytics based on the browser, like Piwik.
You could look at the Atlassian marketplace, for apps that provide analytics
