I am using a 'Table from CSV' macro wrapped by 'Chart From Table' macro to create a stacked column chart.
In the 'Chart From Table' configuration I need to update the Values column field.
The problem is that my data may change and providing hardcoded Values Column may not be correct - show partial data or miss other data that exists in the excel file.
Is there a way to configure the Values column with a wildcard? Something like:
If not, what are my alternatives?
Hi there,
As this question mentions our Table Filter and Charts for Confluence app, we are happy to introduce its new macro – Table Spreadsheet.
The macro allows you to work with fully functional Excel spreadsheets right in Confluence.
You’ll be able to use cells’ formulas, filters, conditional formatting, etc., create pivot tables and charts from the page view and edit modes. The Table Spreadsheet macro is available for Cloud and Server/Data Center.
Hi @Eyal Zmora ,
We've created a corresponding ticket in our backlog and added your vote to it. I'll get back to you here when the feature is implemented.
As for now, you may insert all the possible column header' names into the Chart from Table macro manually beforehand.
For example, if you have Test_1 and Test_2 columns as usual, but sometimes it happens so that the Test_3 column appears too, then type in its name manually. When the third column really comes through the Table from CSV macro, the Chart from Table macro will "catch" it.

The values are dynamic. New values may be added, in which case your proposal may be valid, but existing values may be removed - in which case I need to manually delete unnecessary values.
I will wait for your implementation

The Chart from Table macro will check all the typed in headers: if there are any then they will be included into the graph. So, if you know all the possible variants, then just type them beforehand.
If your columns have random unpredictable names, then there is nothing to be done at the moment.

The columns are semi random...
I will wait for your implementation.
Thanks
