Hi Team,
In the old editor I was able to use macros within bullet points. This was crucial to providing information at the place needed. In particular the expand function. Now when I try to create a macro in the new editor I have to start the list from scratch after the macro. This makes it very difficult to format guides in the way we've been able to historically. Is this a known issue? Any chance of getting this functionality back?
Edit: It's the same with tables, why would we not be able to put a table in a dot point?
Hi @Beth Anne
Here's the update on the same
https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67862
Thanks
Thanks Pramodh, looks like this one's gone the way of every other useful feature Confluence had over other documentation software - the "too hard lets forget it and assign a new person to it every 6 months" board

I'm sorry to hear that @Beth Anne
For now you could get it working with workaround till the feature is released

You mean - "until the bug has been fixed"
This shouldn't be considered a feature under consideration, this was an available feature and the fact that it's now missing should be considered a bug.
I don't want to use the workaround, it's completely pointless, why move from OneNote - where that is the exact workaround already in place for formatting user guides - to another platform with now the same level of editing functionality. The amount of features that have been stripped in this new editor make it actually unusable.

I'm sorry to hear that again..
Please consider the tool, it has so much to offer than what your editor feature you are looking for which has been assured will be released
Thanks
