1. When I created a test report, but after publishing the changes, it does not reflect on the e landing page.

2. then I have to click on edit option, after which I can see the content and edit as well.

3. Due to this issue, I cannot send my document for review/approval, please look into this matter urgently.

@Urmila Debata

This usually happens when the page has unpublished changes or a scheduled publish, or the landing page’s report macro is cached, so the published view doesn’t show your latest edits yet. Edit mode shows your draft, which won’t be visible to others until you Update the page or the report macro refreshes on the landing page

Quick Fix

  • In Edit, use the arrow next to Update and ensure Publish now (not scheduled), then click Update and confirm a new version in Page history
  • If view still differs, in Edit open More (…) and Revert to previous version to clear a stale draft, then re-apply changes and Update
  • If the landing page uses Page Properties Report, make a minor change and Update the landing page to force refresh, verify labels on the child “test report” page, and allow a few minutes for cache to update
  • Ask collaborators to publish or discard their own unpublished changes to avoid conflicts that keep the page in a draft state
  • Hard refresh the viewer page or test in an incognito window to bypass any stale browser/CDN cache

Thanks

Hi @Urmila Debata ,

You can try these few steps below to address this issues. I know these points might be obvious but they worked for me before :)

1. Clear Browser Cache

Sometimes, browser caching can cause outdated versions of pages to display. Try clearing your browser's cache or accessing Confluence in an incognito/private browsing window to see the latest version of the page.

But one small tip is to copy those unsaved changes to another board before clearing your cache.

  • After publishing, hard-refresh the page (Ctrl+Shift+R on Windows/Linux or Cmd+Shift+R on Mac) or open it in an incognito/private window.
  • Clear your full browser cache for the site: In Chrome, go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data (select "Cached images and files" for the last hour or all time).
  • Why? Confluence sometimes shows stale content due to caching after edits.

2. Ensure the Page is Published

After creating or editing a page, ensure that you've clicked the Publish button to make the changes visible to others. If the button isn't visible, it might indicate a permissions issue or a problem with your Confluence instance.

3. Check Page and Space Permissions:

  • In the published view, look for a "This page is restricted" banner at the top. If present, click it to review/edit restrictions—ensure your reviewers have "View" access.
  • Go to Space settings > Permissions (gear icon in the sidebar) and confirm your group/role has "Add page," "View," and "Edit" permissions. If restricted, update as space admin.
  • For page-level restrictions: In edit mode, go to Restrictions (lock icon) and adjust viewers/editors.

4. Switch to another Browser - this works for me a few times

I hope these can help you quickly:

Best regards,

Peter
