Unable to resume the page from drafts

One of my page is in draft and visible under Drafts in my Profile

But I can see Resume / Discard option.

When I click on Resume, it gives me No permission in the browser.

However I got access through restricted pages(Space Tools -> Permissions -> Restricted Pages)  to the required page, but was able to see the content and i got access only to Page Information.

Hi Ranganath,

If the page or a parent page has view restrictions on it, you will not be able to view the page or edit drafts. Though as you should be able to remove the restrictions from the "Restricted Pages" admin page.

However, the "Only $permission.userSubject.name can view this page." indicates there might be something wrong with the permissions hierarchy, as it should show a user's name in place of $permission.userSubject.name. When we've seen this type of issue in the past, it's been resolved by rebuilding the ancestor table.

I recommend rebuilding the ancestor table by following the steps on Rebuilding the Ancestor Table. Once rebuilt, you should be able to see the proper restrictions here, along with an "Unlock" icon on the "Restricted pages" space admin page which you can use to unlock the page.
