Unable to paste an image from my clipboard directly to a Live Doc

When I try to paste an image that is on my clipboard onto the Live doc, I get a drop down where I have to choose options but none of the options paste the actual image. The three options are Use Rich Text, Use Markdown, or Use Plain Text.

It appears I have to now save the image and browse for it in the image icon. This wasn't my experience previously.

This is in my personal space - I do have the Add and Delete permissions for Attachments

Hi @Kristi I was testing this in my personal space

, and I could use Ctrl-V or Right-Click/Paste and the image pasted on my page. When I came back to the page it did save.

I don't see 'paste' on the menu when I type the slash.  I don't have a 'Paste' on the kabob menu in the corner.  Would it be possible to clarify which menu you are looking at? Is that a browser specific menu?  I'm using Edge.

Do other people have the same issue in their personal space?  I'm wondering if it could be a permission thing.  I don't have any thing setup fancy in my space.

Are you Copying the image from a particular app?  Have you tried an image from somewhere else?  I was just using the Snipping Tool.

Hope that helps.

I was using the ctrl-v shortcut to paste it in. When I did that, a little clipboard option appears with a drop down. It is the first time I have saw that menu option. But none of the options worked.

I was trying to pasting images from power point to my Live doc. I just tried pasting the images into word and then copying from there. They paste fine from Word so I guess that is my resolution. Really strange, especially since ppt and word are both Microsoft tools.
