Hello,
We are using Confluence, BitBucket and Jira. We are having some very strange issues with logging in. Sometimes cant login to Jira at all, sometimes we can login to Confluence then get over to Jira. Sometimes nothing works until we clear browsing history.
I did not set up and config this system and I have little expertise and need your help
Thanks!
mike
Hi @Mike Weber
Looking at the above, may I ask if you have an external directory connected to these applications if yes,
We need to know this.
Secondly, you mentioned clearing your cache makes things work again. I suspect that a session times out but when you attempt to re-login, it parses the cached session back to The application rather than your current session in which case can I suggest:
Lastly, for a best way to troubleshoot, please look at your application log found in <application-home>/log(s)/atlassian-confluence.log (it is log for jira and logs directory for confluence).
Check at the time you attempted login to see what errors are being thrown.
Hopefully these steps help you start your investigation.
Thank you for the super quick reply and suggestions. As far as I know Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket are all using the same user database for authentication. The login issue is affecting all users.
We will try your suggestions asap.
Thanks
mw
