Unable to edit confluence page after enabling Collaborative Editing

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
We upgraded confluence from v6.15.6 to 7.4.5 yesterday and we're unable to edit confluence spaces after enabling collaborative editing. Below is the error we're getting the below error.
Cleared plug-in cache didn't work
restarted confluence for 3 times didn't work out
Both bootstrap and collaborative editing is enabled
I am not sure what I am missing?
