Hello everyone,
I am trying to add a Confluence page to my site, but I keep getting the error "Unable to add app". I used to have Confluence on the site, but it went unused for so long, I think they deactivated it. I don't need my old site back as we are starting fresh, but I would like to add Confluence again. A screenshot of the error is below. We do not have any outstanding bills, and we're only using a free plan of JR. Does anyone have any thoughts on how to resolve this? I tried adding this through the administration page. I am the site administrator.
It appears that confluence on that site is in a soft-deleted state. The product won't be completely deleted until the 2nd of August. After that time, you should then be able to add Confluence back to that site if you wish.
Since this appears to be a free plan site, you might not be able to create a technical support case for this. At this time I am not certain if Atlassian support can expedite product deletion of this nature. In the past it was possible, but due to changing restrictions around customer data, I don't believe we can expedite the scheduled product deletion that is pending.
You could create a new Atlassian Cloud site and sign up for Confluence there in the meantime.
