Unable to access space tools as a site-admin

Hi, I am unable to export content from the following space even as a site admin -

What error are you seeing? Or can you not see the options at all?

You will need space-level permissions for export (even if you're a Site Admin):

1. Go to Space Settings > Permissions
2. Ensure either your user account - or the site-admins group - have the Space permission "Export"

^ Once you have this, to export:

1. Go to Space Settings > Content and Tools
2. Select Export
3. Follow the steps

If any of these steps do not work - let us know where in the process that is!

Hello @Ste Wright I am the site-admin already and am able to export all other Confluence spaces except for the above two. Take a look at the attached screen shot and let me know if there's anything else I should try. Thank you for your reply in advance!

Have you checked the Space Permissions for this space though?

It does not matter if you're the Site Admin - a Space Admin can remove your export permissions in their space (for example, removing permissions from the site-admin group).

It doesn't look like you have Space Admin in this space as you're missing the "Permissions" tab - perhaps check the "Overview" tab and see if one of the Space Admins can check the permissions for you.

Or you might be able to override these permissions via:

1. Go to Confluence Settings
2. On the left-hand side, select "Space Permissions"
3. Locate the space you cannot export from - then "Recover Permissions"

^ This should let you become the Space Admin.
