When putting the user profile macro inside the UI expand if the user has profile information loaded it shows even when the UI expand is collapsed/closed. The user profile picture doesnt show until the section is expanded(as i would expect) but the profile's contact info/phone numbers etc show even when UI expand is collapsed.
Is there a way to only show user profile information only once the UI is expanded? (the macro seems to work fine UNLESS the user has profile information loaded. In that case the profile information for whatever displays regardless of the state of expand/collapse

hello! Dominic, thanks for responding :)
Im on version
here are some screen shots.
in EDIT MODE:
----------------------------------------------
In Preview mode it works properly. All info is hidden
------------------------------------------------
In regular view outside of edit... if someone has profile information inputted it seems to over write the expand ui function and show even though it is placed inside the expand ui box. Below Kevin has profile information so it displays "through" the expand UI. Mike does not have any profile information loaded so nothing shows.
oh okay, I see.
I tried with the normal "expand macro" from confluence, not with UI macro.
It seems there is a bug in the UI expand macro. Perhaps, some developer from Refind will see the post and can help.
Perhaps, the normal expand macro will help.

I just tried the "text" expand instead of the UI expand and the same symptom presents for me
(unless there is another expand macro that im not aware of)

Yes, there is another expand macro, not from UI expand.
The normal out of the box expand macro from confluence. Try this one.
--> Expand macro

yes so there is the UI expand.. and the regular expand. They both still exhibit the same thing.
Nesting it twice seems to solve the issue although it will be a pain to double up that macro everywhere. (make a expand macro, place another expand inside, THEN the user profile macro)

okay, this is weird... because I tried with the normal expand macro and it worked.
then I think you have to contact the support

Hi @sam
I tried what you described. It worked well.
This leads me to a few questions.
