Has anyone been able to insert an expand into an expand? I see online that it can be done but have never figured out how to make this happen.

Also, is there a way to search ONE single page, within the page and within the expand themselves. I know there is a search macro, but have never been able to get that to work either.

Hi @stephanie.watters Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

On confluence cloud, there's currently no way to nest an bodied macro (like the Expand Macro) into another bodied Macro. Recently, with the new editor, some differences have been introduced and the nesting of bodied macros is one of them.

Currently there's this suggestion to track the interest for building this out. I would suggest adding a comment to it, Vote for it and start watching it for updates.

As a workaround you can nest a table in the expand, then nest the expand in the table, see below -

For Search on a page, you can simply use browsers find functionality to search within the page including expands.
