Trying to clone a meeting template but unable to retain formatting

Gar Lee July 24, 2019

Two questions in detail:

1. I don't want to delete or change the global meeting template so I'd like to copy it. In the action items of the meeting agenda template, the checkboxes in the task list are highlighted in grey. However when I copy this to a new meeting template, it appears as ordinary checkboxes. Desired outcome:Edit - 2019-07-12 Claire & Gar 1:1 - Customer Happiness Team 1:1s - Confluence 2019-07-24 19-24-45.png

2. When adding a create from template macro, I'd like to add the current user (name) of the creator in the title of the meeting notes. How do I do this?

Hello Gar,

Nice to see you again. Happy to help.

With question #1 - are you on Confluence Cloud? I'm testing this on my Confluence Cloud meeting notes template, but the action items are not grey, so I can't say for sure how to change the formatting for that. Is there any possibility that your meeting notes template has already been modified?

For question #2 - there's a feature request to be able to use variables in your template title

At this time it is not possible to automatically fill parts of the title using variables.

Let me know if you have any questions about that.

Regards,

Shannon
