Summary Confluence sites seem to have disappeared. we are a small site of 10 users, (9 used)
My Manager before he left decided that we would trial Confluence for a site we were setting up,
I learnt how to add documents, create sites for individual customers, a concern was not giving customers access to all documentation on our products, or let them see other customers documents on how to solve issues, so I kept the customers sites in stove pipes.
We created the Project in Jira Service Management and learnt how to link a how to of raise a ticket to that customers portal which had POC's the SLA's and a brief guide of raising a ticket.
I learnt how import a MS Word Doco into Confluence so created another site for that customer and imported approximately 25 Guides I had for that customer in the Draft status, until we published them.
The worst part of learning Confluence was when we gave access to a "customer in Jira that they were given access to all Sites by default, which I changed.
I had no requirement to use Confluence for a period
Moving forward - I since needed to start to get a better understanding of Jira and Confluence, so I started my Atlassian online training part of which is open Confluence and follow on your Site, and or create xyz in your confluence.
Confluence was no longer available the links I created don't work, I couldn't access the sites or Documents I created, the 30 day trial has finished, but it now says in billing frame I have a month until the 10 November for 4 users,
I assumed that the sites would carry on as a free version, when the trial finished but this doesn't appear to be the case
Looking at the Plans and Pricing https://www.atlassian.com/software/confluence/pricing
Questions / Comments
1. Is this a defect that the sites have disappeared.
2. Do I need to see my accounts for approval to activate the Standard subscription @ $550 USD a year, because the users are not the purchase approvals.
3. If we could subscribe to the Standard Plan will the previous links be reinstated or are they gone for good?
4. It doesn't appear we can use the Free version of Confluence.
Any help and direction would be appreciated.
