Hi,
When copying a Confluence page a tutorial shows that the first option to appear is to 'select a location for the new page and there is a check box to 'Include child pages'.
This is not happening when I try to copy a page. It just makes a copy of the page you've selected and then you have to drag and drop the new page into the location you want.
I want to be able to make a copy of the page and all it's child pages.
Can you help me please?
Robbie
Hello @Robbie Trim !
As I understand, you need to copy pages and also their children.
As of today, this feature is not available for the Cloud platform. The copy action only copies the current page. Here is an excerpt from the documentation for Confluence Cloud:
This method of copying a page doesn't copy the child pages. Please add your vote to issue CONF-2814 if you'd like to see this improvement.
Here is the full document:
I believe that the document which you referred to is the equivalent for the Server platform, which does have this feature.
As a workaround to this limitation of the Cloud platform, we could try to use one of the third-party plugins available in the marketplace:
I hope this clarifies how this feature works!
