The default color does not match my expectations. Can we expand the default color? or other ways to use more text color?
Hi @Keyu Zhou
right now, Confluence Cloud only lets you pick from the built‑in palette (about eight text colors), and there isn’t a way to add more out of the box.
If you share a bit more about your specific use case—are you highlighting code snippets, section headings, or decorative text?—I can point you toward the simplest path.

For example, I want the red text on the right to be lighter and more noticeable, but the default color doesn't work for me
I'd like this color:
But the default color doesn't have it

Hi @Keyu Zhou one trick that gets you a really vivid red without needing new text‑colors is to invert it: put a red background behind your text, then switch the text itself to white. You can do this in two clicks:
Now you’ve got crisp white text on a solid red block, which pops far more than dark‑grey on light‑grey.
If you’re not using a table, you can get the same effect with the Panel macro:
{panel:bgColor=#E63946}
Your message here
{panel}
then select the panel’s text and change it to white. Give that a try and let me know if it gives you the visibility you need!
