Hi,

Our company's Confluence hasn't been actively used and I noticed recently that there is a automatic link issue between Confluence and Jira.

I cannot automatically get the Jira link on Confluence. I tried to reconnect the link on Application Links but was not successful.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks.

Rose

Hi Rose,

Jira and Confluence do not actually have an automatic application link in the server versions.  Our Cloud platform will automatically link the Cloud instances together, but server does not have this.

You mentioned that Confluence has not been used recently.  Is the Confluence instance up and running?  If not then that would explain why you cannot create this application link.  Both applications need to be running, and able to communicate with each over over your network.   If both applications are up and running, I think the next information I would want to know would be

  1. What version of Jira are you using?
  2. What version of Confluence are you using?
  3. What URL do you access each site from?
  4. In the application link configuration, what URL is used for each application?
  5. Have you tried to establish this application link from Confluence?

Please let us know the results.

Andy
