The announcement is confusing.
When the legacy page is retired, do users need to take any additional action?
Or should they migrate to the new page?
Are you migrating from Atlassian to the new page?
I'd like to know the correct guidance.
[Key Deprecation Dates]
Phase 1 (January 2026): You can no longer create new pages in the legacy editor, nor can you copy legacy pages or create new pages from legacy editor templates.
Phase 2 (January 2026–March 2026): Viewing or editing legacy pages will automatically convert them to the cloud editor.
Phase 3 (April 2026): The legacy editor will be completely deprecated. All content can still be viewed and edited in the cloud editor, and pages cannot be reverted to the legacy editor.

[주요 사용 중단 날짜]출처: Hello @AlexYang
Welcome to the Atlassian community.
No action is required from end users.
While no action is required for most customers, if you have especially complex legacy pages, we encourage you to convert eligible pages early and share feedback. Your input helps us refine our solutions and support you better.
Pages will be automatically converted from the legacy editor to the new editor starting in January 2026. Prior to that users will also have the option to convert them.
The conversion does not create a separate and new page. The conversion is applied to the existing page.
Hi @AlexYang
> When the legacy page is retired, do users need to take any additional action?
No action is required, however you may want to check for formatting issues and edit as needed.
> Or should they migrate to the new page?
No migration from the user perspective is needed.
> Are you migrating from Atlassian to the new page?
Not sure what you are asking here.
Overall the guidance is just letting you know all pages are being converted to use the new editor at the dates stated.
