When exporting a page to Word, the table fields go beyond the print area. How can I customize the template so that it displays correctly and all information is included in the printable area?

Unfortunately you can't customize the word export on native functionalities. There is this suggestion https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-42900 which you can vote and watch. Apart from that you can either export it on word and then customize it manually (via word), or try any of the 3rd party apps which can be found on the marketplace https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?product=confluence&query=export%20word

You can't really customize the built-in Word export feature, but this app is highly customizable:

I'd definitely give it a try. Maybe it does better work with table without customization...
