Team Profiles vs Team Spaces

Hi there.  I'm a new user trying to figure things out and I've discovered that I can create a Team "space" and also just a team from the people pages.  But it looks like there is no way to link them together.  Is that correct?  

So if I have both a team profile and a team space and someone joins or leaves the team then I would have to change the membership for both separately?

Once you create a TEAM you can use the Link button to add spaces that the team uses. So if you have a teams space just link it to your team.
