I recently installed Team Calendars in both our developer and production environments. The upcoming events element does not appear on the dashboard for our production enviroment...but it does on our developer environment.
I've confirmed the module is active wtihin the plugin configuration. Our global layout is only slightly modified to allow for more favourite pages than the default layout supports. Addtionally, I update the welcome message periodically with various company announcements.
In the TC embed macro 'upcoming events' is not an option. Only 'month', 'week', and 'list' are available.
I'm looking for suggestions of other possible issues preventing us from using this aspect of Team Calendars.

It might be cuased by your customize layout on my quick guess here. Please schedule a maintenance time and revert the layout to default and see if you could see all the events. Please do backup your customize layout for safety purpose.
