We are using personal calendars in confluence with Team Calendars plugin. But when lets say Alice adds Bob to a task in Alice's calendar, Bob does not get a notification, or any update to Bob's personal calendar. How can you make Bob get notified to a Calendar update that Bob does not own?

Hi Eirik,

Alice's calendar is separate from Bob's calendar, so if she adds Bob to an event on her calendar, it will not appear on Bob's calendar. In order for Bob to receive a notification, he would have to have view permissions on the space or calendar in question, or be a watcher of the calendar.

Can you confirm that Bob indeed has view access to Alice's calendar?

Have a look here:

Calendars also respect the view permissions of their related space. When you create a calendar in a space, or add a related space to an existing calendar, only people with permission to view the space will be able to see the calendar.

Regards,

Shannon
