Hi folks, new to confluence user and I'm trying to create a document with an embedded table of contents.
It seems very straight forward but I'm not having any success in creating a simple document (Doc1 with Page 1 and Page 2).
Within Doc1 I have the TOC macro but it never populates.
Most of what I saw were people having trouble with not publishing their document, there fore the TOC doesn't get populated. I've Published my document and still never see Page 1 or Page 2. I AM using the "new" editor for these pages (I don't know if that is an issue or not).
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Hello @Gary Miyakawa and welcome to the Atlassian Community!
As a first question, may I ask more about your use case? It seems you have Children pages (subpages) that you are attempting to display as navigation in your Parent Page (main page), did I understand correctly?
If so, here the Children Display macro could be your solution rather than Table of Contents. One focuses on displaying subpages, and the other displays the Headings detected on your page.
Hope this helps.
Best,
Rodrigo
