Strike through on date

I have a project status report on Confluence and there is a field like planned end date (custom field in page properties). I added date for my project planned end date but I want to show this old date as strike-through when I have a new planned date. So I can show both old date and new date on my status report. 

Is it possible in Confluence Server ?

You can cause a strike-through by adding - to the beginning and end of the date.

As you see below, it does not work.

@Sedat D.  You are correct if you are using the date picker it will not work.  Sorry, I thought you were just using dates that you typed in.
