Still receiving Confluence email notifications despite being set to daily updates only

Even though my Confluence settings are set to daily updates only, nothing else is checked, I am getting lots of updates from pages I watch in addition to the daily digest. It is stuff I really don't care about, how do I get those email notifications to stop? Is there anyway to fine tune updates to only be for when I am tagged? or turn off all but the single daily digest?

Maybe you have still autowatch functionality enabled or already watching some pages/spaces. You would need to unwatch them, disable autowatch and do not follow anyone .. Maybe this could disable number of notifications in the future.
