I have my knowledge base lbnked o my portal. The portal shows to customers rough draft. people in the knowledge base should not be seeing the status of a page.
I don't see the status of the page in view mode.
In Edit mode, i don't see the status of the page in my initian/main knowledge base project.
I see the status section of the page in edit mode in the only subpage (content page) i have in my knowledge base. there is no status set. in the portal it also shows as rough draft.
Are you using Better Content Archiving for Confluence Cloud to manage your page statuses professionally? The screenshot in your question is actually from the app's tutorials.
If yes, then one option to turn off statuses is to exclude certain pages from lifecycle checks. You can exclude entire spaces or just some pages.
Feel free to reach out to us directly with your questions, so we can find the right solution for you.
If you are fine with your Better Content Archiving managed statuses, just want to turn off built-in statuses that are irrelevant for you, like "Rough Draft" on your portal, turn off the built-in status option as suggested before.
Solution is to disable the status option in the KB page.
Go to the Space Settings and in the section Avatars and status disable the Content status option.
This will disable status options on the space.
