Split based on New line character in Table Transformer

Nivedita R January 7, 2025

Hi,

I am able to split based on ";"  in Table Transformer.

I am unable to split based on new line.  Please help. I tried "\n", "\n\r", "\r\n",  CHAR(10), CHAR(13).

SEARCH / AS @a EX('Dependencies'->split(";")) / RETURN(@a->'Architecture Service' AS 'Architecture Service', _ AS 'Dependencies') FROM T1

Hi @Nivedita R ,

Seems that you are using our Table Filter, Charts & Spreadsheets for Confluence app.

You may use real visible characters at the end of each line for splitting (for example, commas, points, etc.).

If it is a bullet list, or if the entries are in individual lines, will it not possible to split them?  Is using a visible character the only way?

Yes, you've got it right: the bullets and new lines are invisible html tags used for formatting, the strings can't be splitted by them.
