Hello there,
I am currently working on a Confluence space where I finished uploading all the contents, and I set up the layout through the Spacecraft app within Confluence. But when it's time to save and update the layout structure with all the changes I applied it doesn't work. It pops up an error message saying: "Failed to update your content. Please check browser logs."

Here's a screenshot of the error:

I tried to log out and log in to Confluence, I also tried to delete the browser navigation data but none of that worked. Unfortunately, I can't find a solution, I searched both online and here in the community, but I can't find any fix, not even a single topic about it.
I'm working on Google Chrome.

Could someone please help?
Thank you in advance
Martino

Hello @Martino ,

Welcome to the community!

Can you check the developer console in Chrome for the errors that are being shown (three dots -> More tools -> Developer tools -> Console) to you? In particular, we would need status codes (either 400 or 500).

Also, I have installed the app on my testing site and it is not working well, since it keeps crashing my Confluence. This is happening when I want to style my page.

Take a look at the console, if you still experience the same issues, uninstall the app and the install it again. In case the issue persists, contact their vendor's support.

BR,

Nikola

Hello @Nikola Perisic ,
Thank you!

Ok, so you're having issues too!
I checked the developer console, as you suggested, and the error status codes are all 401, 404, and 409.

Here's a couple of screenshots of the errors from the search console:

I understand your advice to uninstall the app and then install it again, but the problem with that is that I already published a webpage through Spacecraft, so I don't know if I can uninstall it without losing that webpage or anything that's on it.
What would you say about that?

Anyway, thank you so much for replying and helping me :)

Best regards,
Martino

Hey @Martino ,

So what I see from the status codes is that there are some conflicts with communicating with the app itself. Also, I've also looked around and found their documentation page: https://spacecraft.wikipage.io/ - they also have a service desk where you can report any issues.

I would raise a ticket for them and ask about the issue that you are having.

P.S If this helped you can, you mark this as an accepted answer? :)

BR,

Nikola
