Hi all,
I used to have three copies of the same velocity macro yielding me three lists of spaces. Each list was obtained by passing the macro a category name, so it would show the spaces that had that specific category.
As the velocity labelmanager functionality has been discontinued by Atlassian, I'm wondering about the current way to construct a macro that lists Spaces with a certain category.
The current Spaces List macro just isn't cutting it as:
I would love to have its original code or at least something that partially works on confluence versions equal or greater than 9.2.15.
Kind regards,
Dick
I asked the same question to Atlassian Support. Shruthi Hebbal was so kind to point me in the good direction. The labelmanager functionality I needed can be obtained using the confluence API. She pointed me to Gist Spaces by User Category where user Malte Schmidt provided a working solution of a spaces list by category.
I tweaked it slightly, so that my userbase got something similar to what they were used to.
I hope that his solution can help others that face the same problem.
Kind regards,
Dick
Thank you so much for sharing it here :) I am sure many will benefit from this solution.
