Smartsheet - Smart Link and Embed in Confluence

Challenge
I am unable to use embedded link or SmartLink for Smartsheet in Confluence pages / live docs.

Background

• Confluence account settings show Smartsheet is connected
• I'm the owner of the Smartsheet content
• Have tried Smartsheet dashboards, reports, grids, and workapps
• Previously work in other spaces
• Other third-party links work (e.g. Microsoft and YouTube)

Smartsheet is supported by Atlassian Smart Links, and the authentication is user-based, not space-based. Some Smartsheet URL types not supporting embed view, and unsupported or permission-restricted URLs can not unfurl at all.

Check three things first:

1. the exact Smartsheet URL you are pasting
2. whether that item is actually published / embeddable
3. whether your Smartsheet connection in Confluence needs to be reconnected

Since it worked for you in other spaces before, paste a simple published Smartsheet link into a new page as a quick test. If that still fails, raise it with Atlassian Support.
