Smart Multi Row-Field and using smart Dropdowwn

I have a main form and a subform. In the record of the subform I have configured two field as Smart Drop down. 1. Field PLZ and the scound field is Street. All data are in a reference table. I am using confiforms Rules for field definitions for the field Street for filterung streets based on PLZ. The filter works, but not with the Multi Row Field. Here the two tables:

  • Table Projekt: ProjectTitele, Area (Smart Multi Row-Field)
  • Table Area: PLZ (Smart DropDown), Street (Smart DropDown)
  • Reference Table Area (PLZ (txt), Street (txt)

What could be the solution for my case?

Hi @Dieter Hoppek

This is kind of by design - only form’s own local rules work.

With a smart multi-row field you really have a sub form. Rules from this sub form will not be processed

Thank you very much. Too bad. I almost thought so, but I still hoped for a solution.
