Slow Page Loading

I have a main page that takes 4-20 seconds to load. Other pages do load relatively quickly but a few pages are really slow.

We have minimized any graphics on the page and reduced the number of attached pages.

 

As other pages do load well it seems to be a page issue.  What areas night we want to look at?

Are there any macros that appear on the pages that are slow compared to the pages that are fast? Especially look for macros that access resources external to Confluence, such as databases or Jira.

  1. Copy the page. Is it still slow?
  2. View the storage format visually. Is there any bad XML/HTML described in the document?
